    Solar panels in Australian outback

Where the whole state shows up for our planet

Adelaide Climate Action Week (ACAW) exists to catalyse South Australia's transition to a climate-resilient, net-zero future by connecting grassroots communities with government, industry, and research leaders.

We bring together all levels of society — from concerned parents to boardroom decision-makers — to demonstrate that effective climate action requires everyone at the table.

    Why this matters

South Australia has shown the world what's possible. In just over a decade, we've reduced emissions by 57% and transformed our energy system to 74% renewable electricity generation.

But climate leadership doesn't mean the job is done.

    • Our oceans are under strain from harmful algal blooms.
    • Water scarcity is reshaping the future of our agriculture and wine regions.
    • Communities are feeling the impacts of heat, drought, and ecological disruption.

Adelaide Climate Action Week (ACAW) exists to make that collaboration real.
